Get ready to hit the track and the trail like never before--new M Sport versions of the BMW X5 and the BMW X7 are on their way to your LA County BMW dealer: the BMW X5 M50i and the BMW X7 M50i are expected to arrive later this year.
The Engine
The 2020 X5 M50i and 2020 X7 M50i will both be powered by the BMW N63 4.4-liter TwinPower Turbo V8 motor, offering up 523 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque. That's a significant power boost over the current xDrive50i models of the X5 and the X7, with 67 additional horsepower and 74 additional pound-feet of torque.
The Performance
With this precision tuned engine, an advanced M Sport eight-speed automatic transmission, and BMW xDrive Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive, the M sport versions of the X5 and X7 will top out at 155 mph. The X5 M50i boasts a 0-60 sprint time of 4.1 seconds, while the X7 M50i hits sixty in four and a half seconds. Both models have specialized suspensions, M Sport brakes, M Sport differentials, and BMW Launch Control.
